Real talk. Yesterday I went to get supplements at my local shop. The owner is a real cool dude, around same age as me (late 30s) and he asks about my kids (I'm divorced now). I tell him that online school is a drag yadda, yadda, yadda...I ask him if he has kids - and he says the same thing he always says - that he "can barely take care of himself". Then he hit his key fob and a super clean, all black, 2019 Audi A8 chirped outside. I drive a five year old SUV. My kids are cool and I have a great car - but not an A8.

GYOW if you like the newest, shiniest things guilt free. Even when I buy nice stuff for myself (guns, snowboards etc) I wonder if I could have contributed a little more to the tradeschool/college fund.

EDIT: It was actually an Ironman Audi the R8, not an A8.

This is a phenomenal depiction of the GYOW philosophy. Yes it is certainly true that no one choice is “better” than another choice. However something to consider would be the family dynamic. It is a puzzling time for young men to create families. So many families now a days are broken and it’s a genuine shame.

There’s nothing really wrong with either one.

In fact, dude with diapers is being responsible, he’s around for his kids.

We want more fathers with their kids, it’s part of why our society is so f-cked.

The only potential problem I see here is if either one is married to or dating a c+nt.

I’ve seen married dudes with a solid wife and I’ve seen single dudes with a GF who’d curse them out for spending so much money on their gaming rig.

Well shortage is a problem AGAIN I currently have the 2080rtx so not super rushed so I will just patiently wait for stock even if it takes like half a year or more. I eventually do plan getting the 3x. I can relate seeing some people like the real family man getting asked occasionally "When will u have kids?" I reply with "Eventually" thinking kekw in my mind. Having so much extra money each month is so great, why would I give up my freedom?

Conflicted, I couldn't imagine a world without my son and while the baby phase is looked as a feminine and held up as an example of a cuck - like in this meme, to me it's just a man taking care of business as he wants just like in any other situation. Now me and my teenage son play games together with both of our gaming laptops.
