Ever watched puppies play with adult dogs? The adult dogs play along for a while but after they're bored or tired they merely ignore and tolerate the little bags of energy, but at length, down comes the discipline in the form of an open mouth wrestling the tyke to the ground, and the tyke instantly learns his place.

I'm annoyed at the river of crappy posts around here too. I just let them go. Occasionally if the kid shows some signs of being open to further RP instruction I'll add something, but it's the moderators' job to keep the sub tidy and keep the signal clear.

I'm too old and too tired and too bored to get my bloomers in a bunch because a subreddit of a hundred thousand angry horny twentysomethings gushes a constant stream of newbie pseudoprofundity, but these kids are only sharing the joy of having discovered RP. I say let them be, and let the mods wrestle the low-effort posters down by the throat.

Eh. You just have to have a filter dude. I know, and you know, it's usually the same old thing posted by different people talking in circles. I do think the guys truly are trying to help. They read the sidebar and that fades from memory then a few months pass and they have an epiphany and have to post about it. Well they had the epiphany because they read it before but it just didn't register. I know I've had quite a few just like this myself.
