For context, I'm young in the city that's the entertainment capital of the world (LA). I've had some success on my own with girls from school. I've never felt the need to lie to plates/girls and I'm overall a pretty genuine person.

However, recently I have friends who've invited me to 'influencer parties'. If you're older, it's just a bunch of kids who think they're famous because they have a few hundred thousand followers on tiktok. There are usually a few rappers or high SMV guys there as well as some pretty famous people popping in.

However, the girls at these parties are extremely superficial. Multiple times me and my friends have been asked by 9's and 10's "Are you famous?" mid conversation. If we tell them we aren't they'll make up an excuse on the spot. Later you'll see them with some random dude who has a youtube channel or something, even if he isn't the best looking.

I'm not extremely tall or insanely wealthy but I'm decently attractive. Should I straight up lie and say I have a good amount of followers or something just to keep the girls around? Right now these type of parties are where 90% of the hot girls my age are.
