Single men don't spend much money, hence, you won't see many in advertising. Couples, new parents, they spend the most (as a demographic).

I definitely left television a long time ago. So of course they aren't advertising to me. Ever check the legacy media? All advertisements for serious health conditions. That's the only people watching that shit.

I'd be completely out except I still use the antenna for NFL but that's pretty bad now too. Mute for most of the game. Endless propaganda. Can you believe there's some dude trying to argue police shouldn't arrest criminals??? wow. Insane.

This. Even watching Replicant Phish and Coach GA and other men's channels on yt, every ad pops up is for women. The juxtaposition is amusing sometimes but mostly even 5 seconds is annoying as hell

Like most here I watch tv very little these days. What little I do see really doesn't accomplish the intent of the advertisers, as I use it as more of a guideline as what NOT to buy. You want to portray men as stupid, you've just earned the same classification for your product in my world.

We're not their target, though. They know we are out there but they also know we're not the kind of consumers they want. I'm very deliberate in my purchases so your typical commercial has absolutely no sway in my decision. Also, since we don't have women in our lives we simply don't spend that much money. A minimalist phrase I read after taking the red pill has really resonated with me - "Do not bring anything into your life that doesn't add value to your life." I do this with what I purchase and those persons and ideas I keep with me. I find that I want very little and have found that I'm much happier in my life know that I was in the past.

What people often fail to realize the GYOW part of our attitude is more than "avoiding women". It's about discarding those ideas and habits that caused us pain or held us back, and the building a better "us".
