I went NC with my ex and blocked her on everything except email since I still have an account with her that I’m paying off (big mistake to get into it, but lesson learned.)

Last night she sends me an email that says “call me” and sends a screenshot of a Kik conversation with my old username and pic on it of lovey dovey shit I said while we were together years ago. I honestly thought someone was impersonating me as I hadn’t used kik in years and I had forgotten about that conversation.

So some background, I was going through a tough time and she lost attraction to me as I was displaying beta behavior and said she didn’t want the relationship anymore. That mixed together with her getting on meds to help with some mental issues made for a messy end. A month later she was happily bragging about some new guy she was with, therefore I feel like he dumped her and she’s looking for validation.

She did some terrible shit when our relationship ended and last night she was bawling and saying how sorry she was for everything and that now that she’s off her meds and can think clearly, she realized all the terrible decisions she made.

Here comes the kicker. She then said “I don’t expect you to forgive me, but I want us to have a healthy relationship.”

I took this as her saying “I want us to be friends despite me hurting you so I can get attention while I bang someone else.”

She’s getting ghosted and won’t be getting any response from me, as I don’t want someone’s sloppy seconds after she decided to leave.

Am I going about this correctly? I’m looking for guidance.
