I met and hooked up with a girl a couple weeks ago and was going to keep hooking up with her but while I was gone on a trip for halloween weekend she apparently met someone else and told me she couldn't see me when I got home. I suspect that text messages I sent that in hindsight sounded needy also had a lot to do with it but I digress.

Anyways she just messaged me saying they broke up so I'm wondering how to proceed. I know I'm overthinking but I don't wanna seem too available especially after sounding needy through text so how long should I wait to go hook up with her? I'm definitely not gonna come running over in the first night (tonight) that she asks....
