Got involved in drama. Saw people for who they are: fallible, confused, insecure, etc. They’re just individuals trying to navigate a confusing world.

I happily declare that I now have the skills to avoid such drama. Well, at least I would like to lol!

AWALT is a classic hasty generalization. It takes an amalgamation of different negative stereotypes and makes an absolute statement about women from all time until the present. It’s irrational and unwarranted.

On another note, consider this:

What attracts men to TRP? Generally, their failures with women. Many posts are basically “I’m alone, women suck, I got needy and LTR/plate left me” and so on. It’s a hive-mind of failures giving out advice on successful romantic relationships. They filter their views on women through their experiences, which are by nature, negative.

Why would you expect a bunch of failures with women to have insight on what ALL women are like? AWALT is the perspective of the loser longing for the prize, then blaming the winners for cheating.

Just ask, are you the same as exactly every other guy in the world? Or are you an individual with your own autonomy and life experiences that though may have similarities have uniquely shaped you into who you are as of this moment in time that may be completely different from who you are in the future?

Hohohoho! You need a counter-argument for AWALT? There are no counter-arguments. You either choose to see the truth, or you can stick your head in the sand and try to ignore it. AWALT is a very general term, sure, and doesn't apply in 100% of situations, but the truth is this: Women will be women! You can ignore that info at your own peril.

but I was curious about one thing; is it hypocritical to say “most people want to be respected?” I know that’s the truth, but does it make someone a hypocrite to retort that to a TRP who says for example “All women want to be dominated”?

It's only hypocrisy if you want to be dominated, and don't respect yourself. Not for me to judge though, but either way, it's a bad retort. At most, you can argue there are exceptions to the rules, so no, not all women want to be dominated, but for the right man, I don't think there are many women out there that would not mind being dominated as long as the deal is good for them. Real world example : 50 Shades of Grey and the phenomenon that was.
