Some might say take some time off but that will just make you miss her more, because if she doesn’t seem too bothered that you’re not seeing her as often, i.e. if she doesn’t text or whatever wondering why you haven’t reached out recently, you will start having thoughts of her with other guys and you’ll just invest even more.

The trick is to keep seeing her like you do anyway, and just be acutely aware of oneitis at all times.

There’s always one we like more. A little bit of distance away helps, spending more time with other plates, fucking someone new, focusing more on work/purpose.
