Context: Going around dancing samba in the club and introducing myself to a ton of chicks. After a while you get into a groove with dancing, laughing, and meeting new girls. Guys move around from girl to girl and everyone mixes together and couples link up towards the end of the night.

Anyways, I have had the (fortunate) problem of a girl that I am interested in, but latching onto me. I want to keep dancing and moving around the room, but she follows me around and dancing in front of me. I am interested in her, but I want to meet the rest of the girls at the club. Why pull her when I could meet another girl I vibe with better?

Anyways, what is the best way to confront this issue? Obviously it shows an indicator of interest, but at the same time, it's a bit offputting this level of neediness. When I am talking with someone, I just say "Excuse me for a second" and I dip out of there. But with the girl following me around and not taking a hint, I feel weird.

I don't want to be rude and tell her to give me some space, but I want to let her know I want to meet other people as well.

Thoughts for this amusing situation in the future?
