Have friend who's gay met him in university as a mandatory rule in my dorm for us to act as "brothers" so long as we stay in the dorm. Had to learn everyone name in the dorm. During this time thought he was pretty cool he also helped me on several occasions bag chicks. We've remained friends even after uni(I'm 26 now) in different states but as the years have gone by his been into a lot more feminine fashion and eventually just straight up going full drag(He hasn't joined those feminist and lbgt movements though) . He recently came into town and wants to hang out and catch up but I'm so self conscious that people will think where dating.

How do I get comfortable being seen with gay friends in public?
