You know, I think I’ve discovered what pisses me off about /DoT. It’s the hypocrisy. They flatly say it’s a judgement free subreddit, but that is only if you toe the proper line. what i find funny is that many women become normalised to the extra attention they receive in youth and never ever stop to wonder where its coming from. in equal populations, where the number of men is the same as women (as good as) for young women as a whole to have multiple available men all trying to be with them this can only be at the expense of those men not chasing their same age equivalent.

you cant magic up extra demand in a finite population, that extra demand in youth comes at the price of less demand in older age.

So much I must address. First of all, 25 is not a magical age. College is a major factor to this, since we have more people going to college, women being a larger share these days. And we see many of them going into degrees that are either a waste of time or require a masters degree on top of the bachelor's. That means more time not spent in an insulated environment where you are not dealing with consequences. Without needing to take real initiative in life, it's no wonder they don't "know themselves."

Women "getting to know themselves" often involves doing everything but prepare themselves for being in a long term relationship. To bring up college again, this is an environment that is hedonistic, which has more women spending their time being sluts rather than monogamous.

Just because she wasted her 20s does not mean other women have to make the same stupid mistakes. Women used to get married earlier in life, and I'm pretty sure those women in their 20s had things far more together than women today (this woman being an example of that). And the reason for that being is not what I will discuss now, but we can see that her words are not true for past generations of women.

Also, more "life experience" does not mean you will be a better partner. In fact, it usually means you will be an even worse partner with those experiences than without. Men don't want your baggage. And you are not wiser just because you are older. If you must announce it loudly in order for others to know, it means you are not demonstrating it in your actions.
