Is it too much to ask for consistency? Apparently the answer is yes. The reason making a guy wait longer than other guys you "do not have as many feelings for" is a bunch of crap is because the guy having to wait for something another guy got for far less is being sold a lie.

That lie is that she is not a woman who gives up sex easily, so therefore you need to earn it! Not that hot guy I met at the bar and went home with in under an hour. That was just meaningless sex. Now, if that sex was so meaningless, why make other guys wait longer? Is it because you know sex is not really meaningless and that you are going to have to explain why your standards are so messed up that you are not really worth the commitment?

This is why virgins are so desirable for guys, because you would know for sure she isn't going to have a case where the standards suddenly did not matter with some random guy, where they are mandatory for you.

I really think this is a combination of women massively projecting, and women camouflaging what they're doing, i.e. not knowing or being willing to discuss what really makes them sexually attracted to particular men.

Women really do think their "commitment" and their "settling down" with one particular man is the "prize" they have to offer. They don't see sex as a valuable commodity. They don't value sex or sexual attraction. They don't value the role sex plays in a relationship between a man and a woman.

Sex just isn't a valuable commodity to women. Most women have men throwing dick at them 24/7 from age 15 on. Most women can get sex anytime they want. that makes them devalue sex.

Most women understand the difference between men who are sexually attractive and are good for fun times; and men who are less attractive and are good for commitment and marriage. Now, a lot of them want the hot men for commitment; hoping to find that rare unicorn guy who is hot as hell, AND wants to get married, AND wants to marry HER. And almost none of them get that.

So women, understanding the difference between guys who are "fuck only" and guys who are "marriage", have rapid sex with the fun guys. A lot of them know nothing's going to come of their one nighters with these guys. But the guy is hot, and she's horny, so she runs with it. But she's not going to give him commitment, because she "values" her commitment.

She thinks her commitment is valuable. So she hamsters the whole thing by saying

I'll wait for sex because that's indicative of commitment with a "marriage guy", and to him, commitment is the most important thing. My commitment is valuable. I am not going to give it to just anybody. Sex isn't important to the marriage guy. And it's not important to me. So we'll wait until I'm ready."

But what she won't say is that she just isn't sexually attracted to "marriage guy". He just doesn't really do it for her. He just doesn't get her motor running like Hot Guy does.

And what she doesn't realize is that 'marriage guy' is offering commitment because he believes that's how he's going to get sex. Sex is just as important to him as it is to hot guys. It's just that he's learned early on he can't get sex by offering his body or charm or charisma or game. The only way he can get sex is beta provisioning and commitment.

No you’re artificially manipulating the value of sexual contact so you can use it transactionally as leverage in relationship power games. Give him far less than he wants so he’s always chasing your approval with the prospect that doing so enough will get him laid another time this year. They're always going to rationalise it in some way. Like the one that said "maybe your hormones are changing or something." She's hardly going to come out with "well, he just turned me on more than you and he had a better body so I was willing to do all sorts of shit to him, and he was so much more alpha and manly than you that whatever he demanded I did for him. I was basically his submissive and obedient sex slave. Now that I'm with you, a far less attractive or demanding man, I can just chill out and make hardly any effort at all, and I get money from you whereas I had to pay him.
