I was talking to a friend (the rare logical, thoughtful, intelligent, but not masculine, woman) and had a thought about populations.
A population of people can measure their wealth by how many women they have and their power by how many men they have. Women represent growth and the ability to fill more land with more people, but men are required to protect that land, and take more land from others.
So what does this mean to you, a man? It means you should enjoy the spoils of that power and use it to acquire wealth. But to heed the warning from Fight Club, don't let the stuff you own control you. So if your power (good looks, influence, etc.) gets you some wealth that lets your influence live on past your death (i.e. children), you have to control that wealth lest it control you.
What are your thoughts?
