To be fair, it does seem to be gendered, in that more than twice as many men are critically affected by it. 70:30 or something, last I looked.

Never mind that the majority of doctors, rubbish collectors, truck drivers, supermarket restockers, police, security, border control, paramedics, firefighters, and delivery people are men. All people also on the front lines.
