It was never possible to begin with. There's a reason why plumbers and milkmen are such memes. They were jokes in children's cartoons, for crying out loud! While the husband is out, the wife does whatever and whoever she wanted behind his back. There was never any certainty of faithfulness. And when the husband gets home, he gets brow beaten and nagged.

I'd rather get a sexbot when they become available. I can take care of my own shit in the meanwhile.

Just another liability in your life, like a mortgage. Just because something is "traditional" doesn't mean it's automatically good.

A trad wife means you're going to have to take all the trad shit with it, working your ass off, having to do every bit of chores and honey do lists, and get absolutely divorce raped since she'll be at a stay at some.

Unreliable, exterior factors that will tempt them into becoming thots are omnipresent. Plenty of examples of women ending marriages even after years because 'they never got to live' or some other nonsense. We all know that if they do make that choice the man will end up funding it through alimony because of hostile court systems. Oh, I'm sure we all love the "Idea" of a tradwife! We also like the "idea" of our favorite NFL team winning the superbowl while having a perfect season! However, those ideas aren't reality. The only way tradwife works is to bypass a woman's natural urges to control men. The only way that will work is to take away rights and entitlements from them. Which is not going to happen in modern society.

The only way the tradwife idea will ever work is if you willingly get a woman to submit to you her entire life. That won't work because they are emotional and illogical. They can't stick to that ideology their entire life. Even islamic women "want" to be free from sharia law. So "tradwife" is just a fantasy idea. The only way it will become a reality if when we have artificial intelligence powered sex bots that can also do house chores and have conversations with us.

I'm going to get reamed for this, I know, but I've got exactly what you are talking about. My wife is submissive, obeys me in everything, great sex 2-3 times a week for 20 years. At 40 she's pretty and around 120 pounds, long hair, dresses to please me (I have basically banned pants, heh). Neither of us have ever had sex with anyone else.

Whoever said that society must be on board for this to happen is basically correct. Our church regularly tells women to submit to their husbands, and they do it. You never seen such a happy bunch of families (mostly Brazilians, we're not), in one of the most liberal/feminist states in the US. But yeah, for it to work there sort of HAS to be a cultural bubble where women are expected to never act on their hypergamous natures, or they're out.

So yeah there are unicorns out there, but the stars sort of all have to align. If I was looking today I'd leave the US and go to a country like the Ukraine, where women still have some of those old values of submission/respect for husbands, and society reinforces that.

Is faithfulness guaranteed? Of course not. My mom has divorced raped six men (maybe more now), and I have the scars from when she blew up my family. The same conservative mom who wouldn't let me have a girl in my room growing up. But I feel as sure of my wife as I can of anything, never given me a reason to doubt her loyalty, never even spends time with men unless I'm there with her. I'm not sure how she could be more loyal, honestly.
