Cool, there are some women in the armed forces, following the orders of men who planned out a mission and achieved it. Yes, a lot of leaders in the military are shit- and get their people killed, but I draw the fucking line in the concrete in even entertaining the notion that a woman, or women, have a better understanding of peace AND war than men.

"We just want peace!" Ok, there's a lot of military activity out there, how are you planning on solving it? Pull all the troops back? What then? All the steps from A to Z please, not just your bullshit conjecture of "when women are in charge, you'll see."

So let's say Elizabeth Warren wins the election. Does that mean peace? Fuck no. The bankers, fossil fuel companies and all the secret societies that pull the strings of the high offices would still be in charge. They'd love a woman president because it would fool enough people to think that a gender reversal at the top of the political power spectrum would actually garner the results they seek.

Same thing happened two years ago when the devastating earthquakes shook Mexico.

If I remember correctly, there was a story where mattresses and food baskets donated were withheld and then clandestinely transferred to some other location in order to be rebranded with a certain political party's logo.

It was sickening. The last thing some family who lost their home needed was to be used as a prop for politicians hoping to earn some goodwill.

Even now I remember how many were distrustful of donation channels, not knowing for sure where whatever they were sending would end.
