The only thing keeping women out of rock is women.

They go up on stage, wave a bloody tampon around, throw it into the audience, and scream some feminist political slogans with zero basis in reality. People stop seeing their concerts, people never buy their albums to begin with; the group fails.

The woman who sees a stage as a pulpit is the equivalent of a man who speaks facts instead of feelings when he's trying to get in a woman's pants. In one word: failure. There are plenty of successful female lead singers, and shitloads of successful female soloists. But opinions do not make success. Pleasing your audience makes success.

I can name a few female fronted bands that don't write the shittiest music, but they're backed by a band full of guys who play their part in the lyrics and composition. For the most part you're right, if women start putting out good music you better believe a man was working it behind the scenes

I can't think of a single successful female rock or metal band without a major male-led powerhouse behind them. When L7 dropped most of their male support, they went from pretending to be dead to actually dead. Kittie also went the same way over some sort of fucking drama or another.

Women are trying to rip the ballsack off rock and metal. It sucks and so many men are letting them do it too.

I've been a metal head since I was fucking 8 years old. And no feminist bullshit will ever change my scene.

I like a few female rock bands (i know this isnt the point of the post, but i love metal and punk and would like you to try these). Evanescence, paramore, flyleaf, iwrestledabearonce, eyes set to kill, and if you listen to the bassist of Sick Puppies shes amazing.
