If it were a woman who killed herself because she couldn't see her kids, the entire planet would be up in arms. The father would be censured as a monster. Immediate and total reform of the family court system would be demanded.

Fragile? Maybe. We have all gone through shit. I went through some shit of my own and the thought occurred to me. We.can be certain this was not a singular incident - the ex was likely doing what many women do and using the children as game pieces to punish dad.

Unfortunately, going out like this only hurts the kids in the long run. Most kids who are kept from a parent will want to reconnect after they hit the age that they can take control of their lives.

And he likely just handed that bitch SSI checks to boot.

That is an absolutely minimizing headline... I’d sue the bitches that penned it. Who knows what went on prior to this (actually, I do know because I know this man’s story)... and the fact is, this was the last straw in a litany of family court bullshit and ex-wife misery. So sad.

Is it bad that I see these stories and think, “Good”? This poor guy doesn’t have to fight a losing battle anymore and the crazy exwife now has to raise the kids without child support. There’s even an off chance that she may feel slightly bad further down the road.

The real losers, though, are the kids. Growing up without a father is incredibly rough, and doubly worse when your mother is this crazy.
