I relish in their hatred. Agreed. I have feminist ex I specifically went out of my way to patch things up in person since the breakup years ago was partially caused to me moving away suddenly. I thought she maybe had matured a bit since her huge outburst a few months back on my fb wall over bs, and that especially cause she got dumped from her engagement of three years to an asshole. I thought maybe she learned perhaps to be a bit more open minded since now she misses her fiance so much. NOPE. I wanted to just have a casual conversation with her about anime the other day over messenger, being careful not to offend and be careful on what shows I suggested. Turns out "she always secretly hated" anime, she claimed somebody who worked on legend of korra couldnt of possibly worked on boondocks. (I dubunked this and ofc she, like usual, didn't recognize she was wrong)l But the WORST of it was in these stupid pretentious quotes:

When referring to the teacher in a show:

"he wasn't a sensei, they were latinx"

"like netflix is so convenient"

"you are male. You have been socialized as male. You see the world through male gaze. You watch TV through male gaze."

Me: I liked RvB over RWBY, as it was funnier and since everyone was in a similar looking Halo suit, the focus on male vs female was kept to a minimum whether show or fanbase.

Her: You still see it through male gaze

Also me: Women aren't objects

I've called her out before during the outburst and ofc she deleted me but I didn't let her run away after shitting all over my wall and gave her a chance to keep at least friendship cause we had plenty of good times and conversations together before, figuring maybe she was just stressed. I remember solidly one thing she had asked around that time was why I didn't call when she often didn't answer msgs for months, She's shown proof she still has a secret liking for me I think but she does whatever she can to deny it, I guess cause I don't fit in with her friends and refuse to, idk.

But little does she realize she is a big reason I've taken the honk pill and influencing other dudes to do so as well.
