That’s not very kind of them, but keep in mind they’re defensive and trapped in their delusions.

Marriage is not worth it for a man in any conceivable way. It offends women and married men when you say that though.

I would tend to echo the usual sentiment in this community as someone who is divorced and have been through the ringer in a relative sense, cohabitation isn’t even a good idea let alone marriage.

I’ve dated casually as a MGTOW on and off for the past few years but the more times you try to go back to the table and bargain the more you realize there is no way to get what you’re looking for.

I’m at the point now where when there’s a woman who so much as wants to talk or text on a regular basis I feel extreme claustrophobia and remove them from my life, pump and dump at the most but you open yourself up to the potential of false allegations these days.

I just want to do my own thing, I can barely stand dealing with my ex even for just stuff with custody of the kids etc. She’s always grumpy and complaining about something her current husband looks like he’s aged 10 years in the last 5....

Getting married need to be done carefully. First, don't marry a child, where you just take care of her. Second, know her well for years, not weeks or months. Third, both are debt free. Forth, a prenup and a notorized agreement that you don't absorb current or future debt of hers. Fifth, just know she's a good person, her social media isn't a different person, or you get an idea that things are off.

Know that you can go into a marriage with all these conditions are met, and when you divorce, the courts will still crucify you because of your gender and the church of the woman dictates your crucifixion.

Women will always (ultimately) support the idea of marriage, because it serves them. Beta males will always support the idea of marriage because (they erroneously think) it serves them. The massively unfair legal/social arrangement and negative financial, physical, and emotional consequences of marriage (and divorce) to independent-minded red-pilled males is utterly irrelevant to both of those other groups, hence don't look to them for useful advice.

People are threatened when their own life choices - typically ones that have lead to an unhappy life from which there is no escape - are criticized. People in general hate to be wrong, and it takes strength of character to admit this and change course. For us MGTOW it's relatively easy to do so. We have only ourselves to deal with, and we are fully accountable to, and only to ourselves. So if we're unhappy, we've got ourselves to blame.

For our bluepilled brethren (both male and female), this isn't the case. They follow the path society has laid out for them, even if it's demonstrably wrong, because they assume there is no valid alternative. Then validate this to themselves by forcefully rejecting any offered alternative. A similar reaction to redpill rage. They cannot make the cost/benefit analysis for marriage because deep down, they already have. It doesn't matter. Marriage statistics already show, the younger generations know what's up.

Don't blame the people on that sub for following what they've been taught, even when you know it to be wrong. Just be welcoming to those who want to consider an alternative. I'm curious OP, why did you go there in the first place? Did you truly want relationship advice for a relation that will not lead to marriage, or were you just going there to drop a redpill or two? The latter is generally about as welcome as a feminist spouting intersectional doctrine here...
