Africa has a long way to go but it's relatively safe if you avoid the sketchy parts. It seems that they are sending us their worst in Europe but the people in Africa are actually really nice. Nothing like eating jollof rice at a mom and pop restaurant on the side of the road, you meet all sorts of lovely people.

Frankly, Nigeria is one of the countries I prefer to avoid. No bad experiences, but you never know.

In general I love Africa. Really made me see how unfriendly europeans are :-(
