I think people (men and women) who are OBSESSED with traveling are lacking the ability to entertain themselves. Notice I said “obsessed”. How do you make yourself look interesting when you otherwise wouldn’t be? Post a ton of pics from your travels! Boom! Now I am interesting!

I can entertain myself to the point that I am supremely content with just chilling at home with my hobbies. I go on a nice vacation once a year and usually they are short in length because it gets old and honestly isn’t really more fun that what I could at home and for way less money.

Face it, the Western world looks all the same now. Beige-on-taupe gentrified grids. Why spend money to travel to what you can see right outside your door? I wouldn't travel for travel's sake, I'd only do it if I had a reason to. For instance, my hobby is eurorack synthesis. If there was a big synth convention in another country and I really wanted to go to it, then I'd travel, but only for the convention, not for the culture of Stuttgart or wherever - definitely not to chase pussy.

Why do women looooove travel?

Because most of 'm are naive. They think the grass is greener somewhere else and other places are just as safe as the west.
The reason why women push "travel" on their profiles is because most of 'm probably know that far vacations are not possible once they have a family. They want their twenties to be something to brag about the rest of their lives.
Since most women are leftists due to their female hormones and wiring of their brain they see Cosmopolitanism (the ideology that all human beings belong to a single community, based on a shared morality) as a higher value. Thus travel is encouraged by others: family, friends, corporations.
Technology made travel "cheap". A century ago only businessmen traveled, soldiers maybe. Women? Rarely.
Looking for a sucker to accompany her since she knows that it will be expensive and dangerous to do this overvalued hobby all by yourself.
