I am a beginner too, and my English is not native, so please understand any flaws and feel free to correct me.

I will try to be as short as posible.

A quick review of how I got here:

  • met a girl on January 2016. Thought she was a unicorn. On month 7 (August 2016) she cheats. I decide to work it out (no need to say it was a mistake, I fucking know it)

  • from that moment and on I feel sick, start vomiting and stuff. October 2016 I find this Cornucopia subreddit. EVERYTHING clicks, suddenly it all has a meaning, a reason and rationality. Saw my pretty little princess for what she really was.

  • at half of December I break up with her. Deleted her from all social media, got rid of her number and got my stuff back.

Why is a beginner, a 16 year old one, writing this as some sort of advice?

I fucking got off from the Internet

I kept on reading TRP each day for two months. I am not saying that is a bad thing (even considering most posts nowadays are things explained solidly in some top post or even in the sidebar), what I say is that you GOTTA GET THE FUCK OFF FROM THE PC. GO AND IMPLEMENT THE THINGS YOU READ. EXPERIMENT AND SEE WHAT SUITS YOU.

It's not mandatory to follow every article's advice religiously, just internalize the core principles and phylosofies, grab some less important things you believe will help you and go chase your life.

You're skinny? Track calories, hit macros, eat with a 200-700 cal. surplus and go yo the gym.

Fat? Caloric deficiency of 200-700 cal. Still hit your macros. Go to the gym. Hit the cardio paradise.

I already got some pale results that keep me motivated. This shit will make you lose any embarassment from dancing while walking down the street with your headphones on, you will feel able to make silly faces at a random girl without feeling creepy. And you now what? IT FEELS SO FUCKING GOOD. You show you are on your own and confident while making those faces and the girl will most likely laugh. That is just an example, what I mean is, you will believe in yourself so much that doing things that previously would have embarassed you doesn't matter to you anymore. As a side benefit, people notice those vibes.

You are the fucking man.

So stop (only) reading other's stories here, or looking for some sort of trigger to actually start acting in these posts, and go actually destroy the gym. Hit the parties/whatever environment you feel socially comfortable in. Stop masturbating for a while and get those body hormones restored, destroy your arms at the gym so you can't beat your meat, even if your life depended on it. Cold showers are fantastic, whatever the Internet says about it's benefits, it's so different when you try it yourself, so do it, cold showers every morning (hot/regular showers are important too, don't stop those). Get a hobby and master it. Focus on work. Read. I can't stress that enough, but read. Ancient Greek and Roman literature is excellent. Sidebar-recommended books too, the types, languages, genres, authors and perspectives are infinite. It's not only about your body, train your brain too. Finally, meditate. Search information about meditation and start.

I hope at least one guy just closed his laptop/phone and started doing something to improve himself.

I appreciate this place, thank you.
