To be fair Obsidian Entertainment is the least woke video game company out there right now. Their RPGs are still really good and not affected by the fringe far left and right propagandas. They also have a good relationship on social medias with their fan base. Please don't bash Obsidian Entertainment. There are plenty of dipshit females worth bashing on this subreddit but not them.

This explains so much. I watched a video of the outer worlds yesterday and when first announced i was excited. After watching the video, my expectations were squashed. I now know why it looked so bland.

I've worked in game dev. We had around five women working with us (out of a 35 man studio). They did their jobs pretty well, with no real outstanding contributions. Just work drones. If diversity hires continue however the industry will suffer for it.
Pillars of eternity 1&2 were great (finished them both).
