”I know I hurt you in the past but I’ve changed.”
Yep. I’m ashamed to admit I fell for that line back in 2011-2012, back when I got married. Never again.

How long did it take you to realize she was full of shit?
[–]chester444 76 points77 points78 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
It was complicated. Didn’t take long for me to realize (objectively) that she was full of shit, but with pressures from my asshat family members (who are now out of my life thankfully), and other similar social bullshit, I regrettably went ahead with the marriage anyways. I have a wonderful young kid from it who I love dearly and would do anything for..... but my ex is an entitled and personality disordered psycho on another level entirely.

It’s amazing just how many women that ‘entitled and personality disordered’ actually applies to,

Don't cut out your family out though, they are the only people that will bare the burden of taking care if you ever fell seriously ill. She drove a wedge between you and your family, patch things up, dont give her that win as well.

In his words members of his family were asshats though. Doesn’t sound like something to patch up. If they properly change and work to build a relationship then sure.

Did you watch House last night too? He literally says this in an episode I caught on Pop last night.
[–]harmonic_blast 38 points39 points40 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Yep, I did watch House last night but I watched it off my hard drive. Torrents FTW!
"People don't change" and "Everybody lies" are two of his catch-phrases. Oh and how could I forget, "It's not lupus!", lol.

Believe in her even if it means sacrificing half of everything.

This would imply that a woman has admitted to doing wrong which I have never heard before.

They only do if you catch them red handed and they know you’re gonna dump their ass if they don’t admit it. Source: when I discovered my sociopath ex’s PowerPoint presentation of all the men she had fucked ranking them by their sexual performance and the size of their cocks. She only admitted she had lied about the number of guys she had slept with because I had remembered the exact names and dates she had on there lol

Those shoes might be one of my favorite most comfortable and sturdy running shoes I’ve ever owned
[–]RadoxDZN3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
ever tried adidas ultraboosts?
[–]lordfarquadd1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Yeah I’ve got a few pairs. Their almost as comfortable but the toes are too soft and not great for running since their so soft on the top.
[–]RadoxDZN1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
personally, I’ve had a great experience running in them. I do cross country, and they’re the most comfortable things I’ve ran in before
[–]lordfarquadd1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I’ve Gatta do a long run comparison. But I’ve never had any issues with the 2.0s and I like how their not sooo soft. Like the comfort is great for the gym like jump roping and stuff but I feel like when I lift each leg up to run my toes curl outward up into the knit and the protrude put enough where it doesn’t feel stable.
