The Blue Pill mindset revolves around those who talk about it, and aren't about it. They don't deal in actions, they deal in words.
The thinking process goes a little like this; discover, or in most instances create, a problem. Figure out what bothers you about this problem. Tell people about this problem and complain about it. Look at the problem from every angle, really observe it. Talk about this problem some more. Work on finding solutions to the problem. Don't actually do anything about the problem, just complain some more. Really start to loath life because of the problem, because that is apparently easier than fixing it or accepting it.
And that is the basic cycle for a blue pill thinker.
Here at TRP, you are able to eliminate a large portion of this cycle if you adopt stoicism. When you do, your problems don't become something the world hears about. Stoicism puts you in control of your own fate and circumstances. You may have one or two trusted advisors, but outside of that, there is no need to explain your life problems to others, because it would actually hinder you from this point of view.
When you accept this portion of stoicism and make it apart of your life, you realize that half the battle in life comes from people around you talking. They talk too much, and do too little. And if you follow that mindset, or assume it from being around it, and do as they do, you will be right behind each one of them... stuck in a helpless rut yelling, "oh poor me!"
When you have grown, your thought process and problem solving actions should change, and they should look like this; if you want to solve problem X, you do Y. If there are absolutely no solutions to problem X, then you do nothing and accept your circumstances... it's as simple as that.
Complaining about something you can change, and complaining about something you cannot change, are both products of the same. They are you acting helpless and searching for validation and nurturing, things a man should never look for. Don't be like everyone else... don't create/want problems for your life, for the sake of having them. Your need for attention and validation should be self served and your ability to solve problems will come to you like it's second nature if you follow this.
