Rape culture my ass. People who say that shit assume that all men are walking penises just waiting for someone in loose clothing to come by. They insult us by assuming that we are okay with commiting rape or comfortable with ignoring those who do.

Donny: "Hey Mike, what are you up to tonight?"

Conversations like that do not happen. Ever. Despite what you may hear, most men (i.e. the vast and overwhelming majority) do not rape or find it to be acceptable. There are a number of reasons why rape is abhorrent.

We wouldnt want to be raped ourselves.
We have people we care about, and know how rape affects them and the people around them. We arent fucking ignorant.
Rape is unmasculine. Its about taking control from someone who is weaker and more vulnerable than you. Its a weakling's tactic, which is why men find it to be repugnant.
Every person raped makes it harder for decent men to shake off that stigma.

Who is more obsessed with rape, a man or a feminist? With that in mind, who wants to throw out the rule of law when it comes to rape, men or feminists? Further, who thinks that women who drink and then have sex aren't accountable for their actions, men or feminists?

I think it's pretty clear which group is actually promoting rape culture.

Who cares about the rape comment. I learned far too many nuisances about menstruation than I care for.
