This oddball experience happened a few years back.

Because whatever deity in the sky loves me so much, I have a tendency to develop B vitamin deficiencies more often than the average person.

As a result, I take higher doses of B vitamins to ensure I don’t shrivel up and die at the ripe old age of [redacted, insert current age]

Now, an odd experience from taking a vitamin B complex (at least for me) is that my nails both grew faster, and harder.

As a gamer, who also happens to game on touch screens from time to time, unexpected fingernail length kills me more often than any other experience. Simply put, I usually pick them off. However, because they got stronger in density, picking them because increasing difficult, so I just gave up for a few months.

Scene: college, younger me, first day of class

Girl: you know, you have oddly long nails for a guy, it’s not typical at all.

Me: hun, I never noticed it before. I just started taking some B vitamins and it made my nails grow waaay faster than normal. You should check them out if you ever want improvements, they clearly work. It’s working way more than I ever intended.

Girl *looks down, goes quiet, LITERALLY GETS UP AND WALKS OUT OF THE ROOM LOOKING LIKE SHE IS ABOUT TO CRY

My mentally: wait, NO, I didn’t even even look at her god dam nails.

everyone in the class just glares at me

That was a fun class, as I was labeled the “bully” from day one.
