Typical monolinguistic BS, thinking the whole world revolves around the one language you can speak. Like, "persona" meant mask or character in Greek, iirc, and I don't think English even existed at the time. I really hate ignorance like this.

Of course not. English is one the clumsiest, most haphazardly ordered natural languages in the world, and that largely because it's a Cuisinart-style fusion of many different base languages out of which it emerged. Just the number of different Germanic languages from which it springs can make a body dizzy.

Yeah, lots of French, Latin, Old Dutch, Old German words in it. I wasn't saying persona doesn't mean mask/character in Old Greek (no idea of the current one).

It's part of the blue pill, as they call it, the way I see it is the hopeless need for a sense of belonging to something greater than ourselves, and denial of the fact that all of us are alone in this world. It's stems from the same sort of feelings that lead men to degrading relationships with women who treat them like shit.
