The complete opposite of this thread. I bet the OP is a woman. Also, this thread has opened my eyes so much about my father. At first I was resentful he wasn't around during my childhood, but now I know he was doing what he could to provide for me as best as he could, better than his father. I want to make him feel ok with his choices - he has worked so hard. Fuck I'm crying.
