2508 days… and finally sex!

2508 days since the wife and I had sex. Basically when she got pregnant the last time, that was it for sex. She hated being touched. Would yell at me to not touch her. If I came up to her and tried to hug her she’d flinch. And no! I’ve never abused her or anything. She just didn’t want anything. I really believe she only wanted sex for the kids and that was it.

So there are some moms at my kids school who are either married or single and they all hang around me and are friendly with me. Some are kind of flirty. I’m not trying to do anything about it. One, I would LOVE too! But nope, She is going thru a divorce and I am married and she knows it. Whatever the case, this mom and I are friendly. She gives me longer hugs than normal but I’m a nice guy. I help her and her kids out given everything she’s going through.

I don’t mind it of course. My kids and hers are friends and play together. So this mom has been joking about how I’m her work husband. Her mom who likes me, she’s joked when I call, “it’s your husband calling”. So everyone is in on the joke. I don’t mind it. My wife knows and has joked about it. That’s where things got weird.

My wife has never been a jealous person. I kind of wish she was at times. But oh well. If she were it’d show she cared at least a little bit. The other day(Sunday) she joked that she needs to keep her man happy to avoid me going out with the moms. It was really odd. She’d never said that or showed any kind of concern or interest like that.

On Sunday I slept in the same bed as her, something I haven’t done in ages. Many reasons why. But I woke up to go to the bathroom for water and she woke up. I came back and she was awake and started touching me. It was weird. She did this for like 30 minutes and I just kind of laid there silent and stunned.

She asked me if I wanted to have sex? Still a bit stunned I said sure. So I did about 30 minutes of foreplay and then we had sex. It was kind of an odd hour and a half. And she’s made comments like she needs to keep her man happy. But we haven’t had sex again since Sunday. Who knows if it’s the school moms or my comments about how long it’s been or what. But I actually had sex with my wife for the first time in 2508 days. Over 6 years.

I don’t even know what to say.
