BTW ever look through the collection/gallery of photos (or even glance at a multi-thumbnail screen of such) on other people's phones?
Invariably WOMEN will have a gallery of photos where in the majority of the pics, THEY are in the photo, if not the main subject of it (as with OP's sample, the woman isn't just "in" the photo, she's arguably the central element).
But in my experience, the galleries of MEN are actually just as revealing, because while he will (unless he is a soyboy "male" in which case "selfies" abound) generally have lots of picture of objects:
If he's a pussy-chaser, he'll have LOTS of photos of various women (and the kind of women he's pursuing will be obvious as well).
If he's a beta-orbiter, he'll have LOTS of photos of his girl "friends"; that is the women he is orbiting.
If he's in a "relationshit" (but either not yet married, or still in the "honeymoon" phase) his phone will be filled with photos HE has taken of his girlfriend, fiancee, or wife.
If he's been married for a while -- especially "with children" -- then the gallery will be mostly photos of the kids and/or the family "home."
If his marriage is on the rocks (i.e. pre-divorce) -- typically his kids will have aged and are no longer "cute" or novel objects (so still present in his gallery, but not as prominently, and thus few recent pics); there will most likely be pictures from "vacations" and possibly some "mid life crisis" toys (sporty car, ATV's, etc).
If he's a divorced guy -- well see #1, #2 & #3 above -- plus if he's been divorced for a couple of years (and financially recovered from it), probably a few pics of a recently acquired convertible or motorcycle.
If he's an "old fart married guy" -- the gallery will be filled with photos of children being married, and grandchildren.
Finally, if he's an actual MGTOW, the gallery will be almost entirely of "objects" and/or "projects" (often at various stages of completion).
There will be almost NO photos of people at all (possibly a smattering of family gatherings group photos, a few of nieces & nephews, etc) -- and very likely NO selfies (certainly not many, and likely not recent ones, not even if he's been on trips -- moreover if there ARE any "selfies" {or more likely pics taken of him at something by someone else} he will likely be in the picture only "for scale" or "for proof" {that he was there} and he will NOT be the central element of the picture).
EDIT: Also, this isn't intended to be an "exhaustive list" but rather is basically a "what I have observed" kind of thing from phones of -- friends & family -- men of varying ages from teenagers & twentysomething guys to men that are 30+ upward to ~60 yrs old.
That's why there is no "category" for guys who have ZERO pics on their phones. It's not something I would have observed (guys don't usually pull out a phone in order to "show" people that they have ZERO photos on it; I mean why would they?)
I just realized there is yet another category (or possibly more than one) that is entirely missing: gay guys. I suspect that there would probably be a similar array of "parallel" categories to the above; but in reality, I have absolutely no idea (and frankly no real desire to find out) what kind of photos will be on the phones of some array of "typical" gay men -- for the simple reason that (at least AFAIK) none of the guys in my circle of friends & family is gay.

You may think so, but I rather doubt it. About the only way you wouldn't "fit" into one or another is if you either don't have a camera-equipped phone, or you don't use the camera at all (empty photo gallery).
And/or of course there is also the possibility that you have no actual "life" at all, don't even venture "outside"; and spend all your time playing vidya games, watching PewDiePie etc on youtube, (and/or jacking to porn) in the 'rents basement.

No, I just don't keep pictures of myself or anyone I know. There are also no pics of me anywhere on the internet. Statistically, I'm probably in the background of someone's zoo day picture on Instagram, but that's it.

I have zero photos in my phone gallery and I have a great life
I did note a few exceptions:

So basically you're an "empty gallery" type. Which probably means you just don't use the camera phone at all (at least not yet).
I was basically that way until about 3 years ago. Preferred to use a dedicated digital camera for most things... but then somehow or aother ended up switching over to using the phone (I suppose for the convenience of TXTing pics instead of emailing them; well that and a "newer" phone had a much better camera than the prior phone).

yeh I don't use my phone to take pictures, I got rid of my iphone and bought a fifty dollar piece of shit from the supermarket.
Well that's basically what I have as well (a cheap paygo LG android thingee); nevertheless the camera in it is fairly decent -- not HD quality or anything, nor even really as good as my (decade+ old) cheap digital camera, but it's close enough, plus it's handy (and as I prev noted convenient to sent pics via SMS, which I'm doing more of the past couple years).

Digital cameras are a wholly different thing that the old film & print routine. You're an "outlier" even among people similar to yourself -- you overestimate your own "commonality" -- moreover, you're missing out on a GREAT documentation tool.
Of course add on married twice and cohabiting a third time -- regardless of the patents you've been a party on -- doesn't exactly speak to ability to actually learn new patterns of behavior from experience now does it.
Regardless... you're not "in" the above list because it's a list of things I've observed, and people like yourself don't exactly pull out their smartphone in order to brag about how they NEVER use it to take photos, and then show off the "empty" gallery.

No biggie. Less of a "list" more of a "if you get a peek at his photo gallery" -- or even if he's openly sliding several photos past you to get at one in particular -- you can probably tell a LOT about a guy based on that.
I didn't really include a # entry for "empty gallery" not so much because there isn't ANYONE who doesn't take photos (though I think that IS fairly uncommon*), but rather because the scenario at play here is the above, where the guy already IS showing you pictures on their phone -- and.. well when or why would you ever SEE the photo gallery of someone's phone if it is entirely "empty"? It's a non-sequitur.. that instance (or category) would probably never arise.
* Even my brother and a few other similar "old fart" guys I know -- all of whom are largely a computer-techno-phobe types, and who for decades have eschewed/avoided computers as much as possible -- nevertheless even they DO now have camera equipped "smartphones" (even if only el cheapo ones); and in the past year or two even they HAVE begun taking at least a few pics with them (almost exclusively of "stuff from work"; or some model/serial number plates from a garden tractor, etc -- very pragmatic/utilitarian "object/project" photos -- often more as a quick "note taking" tool than a traditional "camera" LOL). Oh, and they often have pictures they've snapped of "grandson(s)" etc (saw a bunch of these this past Christmas).

I hate to enable this but my cheap ass Walmart phone has a mode where you flash the Victory Sign at the phone and it snaps the pic. You can probably find something similar on your phone.
