No, I agree.
I told her I loved her, that she brought value to my life, and that above all else I would not want to drive her away.
I’ve since accepted the wisdom on here that, to hold a woman’s attention, you have to treat her like shit. Problem is, I’m not a sociopath, so if that’s what I need to do, I want no part of it. I’m not going to remold my personality and cultivate some bullshit ‘alpha’ mannerisms just to get laid. I’d rather live life on my own terms and do what makes me happy.
EDIT: either that, or revealing my old pornography habit (which I dropped easily when I started seeing her) did it. But if it’s the latter, then she’s a hypocritical cunt, because I know for a fact (finding her vibrator in my bedside table) that she did not stop masturbating when we were dating.
Those are the only two things that possibly ‘caused’ it. I pored over it for a very long time, and neither possible answer is very satisfactory. Honestly? It would actually be comforting to believe what you say unironically, because knowing that I screwed up means I can fix it. Ill give you the insight from the other side. I was not cheated on. I embraced the full psychopath dark triad mode, very early on. It works.
I was never abusive physically. But i used all the dirty tactics. The more you do, the more the relationship gets intense, and the less she will feel like leaving you. You can cheat on them. Fuck her friends. She will hate you, but she will crave you. The shit you do must be spaced out. Dont do too much. Start slowly, and progress to more hardcore stuff. At some point you can do whatever she won't leave you. It will have to be you leaving her, or behaving weakly so to make her leave you.
Women take decades to get over a man that is abusive to them. Unfortunately this is the truth.
The other problem is that. At some point you will become exactly that, a psychopath. Because you are being rewarded hormonally and emotionally to be like that. Its inevitable.
You will lose respect for yourself. You will realize you cant love someone that wants to be treated that way, or that loves someone that treats her like that. You will want her to leave you, but she won't. If you cut ties early on you are safe. Otherwise it will mess with your head anyways, because you are a human being.
Then you will want to leave her. But these relationships are very tricky and both parties get addicted.
The more you treat her like shit, the more she dedicates herself to you. But the more you do, the more you will also feel attached to the relationship. And at some point it even changes you.
The conclusion is that you cant trick yourself. They might love you if you are an asshole but you will not respect yourself if you stay with her. This is why pump and dump or short term things are the only thing that might work for mgtows and dark triad men, if they still want anything to do with women. Anything above that will feel like you are a drug addict.
At some point in some relationships. Note, this was way before the redpill and mgtow came out. I tested them. I intentionally showed a weaker softer side of myself, to see their reaction. And they are not stupid, they will reward at first. But they will change like in the same day. Then you know it is over and that you cant change female nature. If i prolonged the test, and kept treating them too nice. They probably would cheat on me too. So i did that always at the end of the LTR, when i was over it.
This is why many men are abusive, and beat their wives. Its because they know instinctively about hypergamy and everything, but they just dont understand it, they only sense it. So on one hand they feel like being protective and they love their wife. But on the other hand they feel like they treated her too nice, and so they switch between the two opposite poles, because it is impossible to be both at the same time, and women know no moderation. You are either a cuck or an alpha to them, no middle term.
Therefore to the bluepill, and the men that shame mgtow, they are very unexperienced and they are probably cucked in every relationship, if they ever get one.

Nah, Bob's overdosed on sitcoms and rom-coms. Seen this a few times. What I've never seen is a happily married couple.
