The dude I started working with again building houses is in this boat. it sucks, because he saw me GMOW like 6-7 yrs ago and sees how happy I am and how Idgaf about shit that doesn't pertain to me and do and buy what I want with no fucks given. But he is dependent on women and calls the new one (LDR) his "best friend" who he can tell anything to... well actually, Im that guy IRL, and he knows it, and he is a smart guy, and said if he ever got married id be his best man (no thx bro unless I go to look for a 1 night stand, but then again, I don't want nothin to do with that wedding fever). the problem with having a woman or man (opposite sex in general if you are straight and sexually active) as a best friend is they are the only best friend who will leave you cold out for the simplest fact of a fight/disagreement or wanting to fuck someone else. Or awkward feelings when you try to stay best friends after a failed relationship. And all the thot watching he does on dating sites and stuff... destined for a life of misery, and Misery Loves Company. But I just gotta accept the reality that he was so blue pilled growing up and having a stable family unit that he may never have my mindset... Ill continue to tell him my honest POV and let him make the decision himself. He has changed a bit, he used to give me shit for not chasing pussy to get laid, but I told him it just wasn't worth my time after 30 yrs old and now a few years later, he completely understands and is where I was then.
