No wife = happy life

If you're in this sub then I think that you probably agree with the above statement. The thing is that part of me thinks that from a purely biological perspective you also have:

not reproducing = biological failure

So how does one live happily while still spreading their genes? Knocking up random women you don't want to stay with is not a great idea, for lots of reasons.

What about sperm donation? It seems like a good idea:

  1. You have no legal or moral responsibility to the children

  2. People having babies from purchased sperm probably are at least a little better than your average parent. (They actually think they want kids and have money to pay for medical treatment.)

  3. Can't get hooked with child support or alimony. Costs you nothing.

  4. Some places pay you for making a donation.

Did I miss any positives? Are there any negatives I don't know about? Has anyone done this and can share their perspective?
