He was a young man with a bright future. He was tall, a bit lanky, and a little socially withdrawn, but he had a nice STEM degree and came from a good background. She was definitely a bit out of his league, but if she knew it, it didn't show. I don't know how long they dated but they got married about 16 months ago. It wasn't a big wedding, just a get-together at a friend's farm. They left town after that to start their married lives.

Well, I saw her today with her new boyfriend. She was in town for the holiday. The marriage had evaporated and the new guy was literally a Chad, like his name is Chad, and he is a Chad. I guess we'll never know what happened.
