The only benefit I see to having kids is extending my biological family blood line, and hopefully producing a kid who is smarter than I am and furthering the human race. But there’s also the high probability that my kid will be a dumb fuck or not furthering the human race and that’s going to take 18+ years to determine, not a risk I’m willing to take.

If I ever decide to have kids, I better be in my late 30’s or early 40’s , making over $500k a year, and I gotta have my baby via surrogate and egg donor (none of whom have any legal rights to my child whatsoever). It will have to be guaranteed I can have a son (which will probably be very possible in the future with gene technology) and I will raise him without a mother as a MGTOW Jr.

Same. I have nieces and nephews. They’re awesome. Just like kids, but without all the responsibility and headaches. And, they still carry a ton of my DNA. I mentor them and look out for them as if they are my own. I’m good.

I think a lot of us don't want kids, I was married and I left because my ex wanted to bring 2 kids (not mine or hers, was her sisters kids, long story) into our life, I refused and said if she did she would be raising them alone, they had other options and regardless not my monkies, not my circus. I never wanted kids and I told her that when we first started dating so not like it was a big mystery. She said she was doing it so I asked for a divorce and moved out, now one of those kids was arrested for selling drugs at school, I knew that one would be nothing but a pain in the ass, so glad I left.
