Was the buddha the world's first MGTOW?
Seems like buddhists are well aware of the trouble of women and kids. Of course in his day, without reliable contraception that meant foregoing sex completely, or mastering yoga techniques that would allow you to have sex without spending your seed.
Their pretty big on self mastery and developing positive qualities. Also there's the idea that the world at large is caught in a blue pill treadmill and the key to happiness is to just not to buy into the illusion.
So I'm wondering if people here have studied buddhism and if so, do you find that it resonates with you?
