Most women want to one-up their friends and they want all new stuff. I read that the average wedding costs $50k. That's fucking insane.

I got married in 2016 and because we did a lot of the decorations ourselves, and had a catered wedding from a pizza place, and used a Spotify playlist as a DJ, we only spent about $4k before the honeymoon.

We have a modest apartment and wife has a 2012 Lexus hybrid(mainly she wanted the hybrid and it was a good deal, and she's paying for it because she actually works.) I have a 20 year old Ford Escort.

We are saving and paying off debt to be able to get a house, and since we don't want kids I'm getting snipped in January.

But a lot of women, thanks to Instagram, Pintrest, Facebook, they see their friends have a new car and want a new car, or their friends pop out a kid or two and they ergo want a kid, it goes on and fucking on.
