Wow, just looked it up in my Bible. So interesting that 'submit' is used for women and 'love' is used for the men. Maybe it always has been a 🤡🌏

“Love” in the sense that Paul used it is more like ‘want what’s best for someone.’ It’s not a matter of acceptance but guidance. In this context, since Paul was also saying that as Christ is the Head of the Church, so man is the head of woman, it’s more Instruction to guide, control, and protect (even to the point of laying down your life) your wife. The last Austrian King echoed this statement when, upon marrying his wife, he said, ‘now we must get one another to heaven.’

Of course, St. Paul also says it’s better not to marry, if you can avoid worse sexual sin without it.

Actually if you take the bible to be the word of God, then its God himself who believes women are incapable of love. But then seeing as how women have been dragging men down, since Eve did it to Adam who am I to argue that they can.

Titus 2:3

the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things— that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.

There would be no point in admonishing them to do so, if they were incapable of it.

It's a bit too convenient for women that they can't. They can. They just choose otherwise.

You need empathy to understand love, heck most of the people I know lack that my own family, but all of the females in my family lack empathy (even my own mother and sister), it is kind of disheartening, but when you get certain age you understand that and avoid them at all cost.
