I like how they say;

"Yes, more men are still dying from alcohol and becoming alcoholics, but there is evidence that women might soon overtake men"

In other words let's fund women's alcoholic rehabs because its now become a problem "society" cant ignore anymore.

Ex wife was a raving drunk and she point blank told me her drinking problem was due to my failure to fix some drywall in our house. This was after months of attending AA where the mantra supposedly is that the drinking is your own problem and you have to own it.

Must be nice to have a hamster wheel like that.

Women deserve to be safe from sexual assault, no matter what their blood alcohol content.

Deserve assumes someone will provide something to you. In the real world part of being an adult is ultimately protecting yourself. Maybe just maybe limit your intake of alcohol in a public place to the point where you can function.

Honestly this article makes me think that we should remove taxes on alcohol. Having more of these "I AM WOMYN HEAR ME ROAR" types drink themselves to death isn't a bad thing. Considering the sheer level of damage they do with their rape accusations.

I was drinking too much all the time. I quit. That was 8 years ago. That's how you do it. If drinking is a problem, quit. Find resources if you need them like counseling or AA or whatever. And then quit.

If you can't do that, don't blame it on someone else.

Many years ago I was on the governors board for my children's school. Our number one issue that we dare not mention was how the majority of the female teachers were downing a couple of bottles of wine every night and doing a shit job due to being hung over.
