Did you make me lunch? Because earlier, when you told me about this activity that I didn't want to go to, you said there would be food here, and that you would take care of it if there wasn't, and there isn't.

Where are my car keys? because I put them in the same place that I always put them, the same place that I put them every day for the last 7 years. And now they aren't there. And you've been the only one home.

Did you bring my jacket? Because last time we went out, and I reminded you that it was cold, so you should probably bring a jacket, you didn't, so when you did get cold, I gave you my jacket, and you said you would put it back in the car so we would have it for this trip. But I don't see it here.

Do I have any clean underwear? because I know you get super shitty about how I do laundry, and for 3 years we've been arguing about how laundry is done, so in order to stop arguing, I said I am totally fine with you doing the laundry anyway you like if that will make this a happy house. You agreed to that. But it seems that I have no clean underwear.

The reason husbands are always asking where X item is is that wives love to take your shit and "put it away" somewhere that only she knows so she can be in charge of whether or not you ever get it back.

In the example above, his jacket is in a trunk in the garage and the car keys are in the freezer. Now she can roll her eyes at him and insinuate how stupid he is for not knowing where they are while posting snarky shit like this online, all the while knowing she's just being a deceitful manipulative bitch.

My thoughts are that it is a quick summation of what women could offer men. As in, what makes them worth involving in your life. A mother figure to deal with the chores and trivialities so you can pursue more important things, basically.

Of course, a man could manage all of those things on his own, and even if he couldn't, marriage is a sham.
