Kind of like origami, but not really. Origami is based on folding paper, kirigami is based on cutting paper.
I learned it from my grandpa. He used to travel places, take pictures of buildings and then transform the pictures in 3D representations of the buildings by creating kirigamis of them.

Maybe you can give me some advice on meals and stuff. I’m struggling to do much more than ‘a meat and rice with a steamed or grilled veggie(s). Surely there’s better healthier meals I can do without busting bank on mountains of ingredients to make my own everything. I just have too much to do to spend so much time at a stove.

Nuts, cheese, eggs and beans may be something not too expensive and worth adding for your diet if meat is too expensive. Those are also things that you can eat with little preparation.
Other than that, you can always pick a different type of meat (I recommend chicken breasts) and eat combine with the above ingredients + some sort of whole grain pasta for your fibers. My trick usually is by switching the types of cheese you use, you can really change the taste of the meal as a whole.
Also you can prepare eggs in many different ways - so you don’t have to always eat the same meal everyday, even thought you may be using similar ingredients.
