Actually I agree with this one. Anyone who hurts an animal, especially in a "fit of rage", should be killed. I've always said I'd have no problem killing someone if I saw them hurting or torturing an animal.

Don't care if I get downvoted for saying it: Good on her.

Hurt my animals and I guarantee I'll wind up in prison while you'll wind up in a hospital/morgue.

That being said, this is not the best way to highlight the disparity between whats considered acceptable for men and women. Pets are pretty much universally beloved. Someone attacking another (regardless of gender) who harms their own pets is practically expected.

Yeah because this woman cared so much about her pet she stabbed that men for it... :D :D :D :D She stabbed him using the pet as an excuse! And she should go to prison for it because you guessed it that is ILLEGAL! I feel bad for the cat but let us not pretend like her actions were justified because 2 wrongs do not make a right.

Really not enough information from just one headline. If I were on a jury I'd want to know the severity of attack on cat (cat knocked unconscious, dent in sheet rock) number of stabs (one lucky stab and he died or 42 stab wounds) and perceived threat (did she think he would attack her next)

Multiple stab wounds and no perceived threat or if cat bounced off wall and ran away but she stabbed the guy anyway: 2nd degree murder or voluntary manslaughter.

Cat knocked out, dent in sheet rock, one stab and the guy died: involuntary manslaughter or felony assault with extenuating circumstances. Crime of passion.

If she perceived the guy's rampage as threatening and the cat just happened to be the first victim, self defense.
