In less than 1 year I went from 2 cars, $125,000 beautiful home, 2 kids and good credit to financial ruin and kids I have pretty much have to pay to see maybe 6 days out of a month. She was bored and was having an emotional affair. She filed and got paid.

Got to think that there is always a way to leave. Right now I'm trying to get out of the Deep South(Georgia) love the state, but home is NOT where the heart is I'm applying all over this damn country now. At first I didn't get it, but you can literally get a job anywhere. I see that shit now for what it is.

Alabama, maybe some parts of Florida still. Give it some time though, I think a correction in housing prices is coming soon. Current prices aren't sustainable with rising interest rates. Hoard cash so when the market turns you can scoop a foreclosure for cheap

In 2010 several houses like that in my tiny flyover state town were listed for $25K. I drove by a couple of them. Looked OK, like Grandma's old house that she wasn't keeping up as well as she got older, but not junked out.
This is why I think it's crazy to stay in a large coastal city if you don't have a job that absolutely requires you to be there. Especially if there's at least a mid-size city an hour or two away for shopping and socializing.

my friend smokes. weed and cigarettes. his wife of course knew this when she married him and didn't really object. he's a good husband and tries his best. married just one year she already threatened to take his son away and not let him see his son unless he stops. now he has to hide his behavior and keep it secret. granted, smoking isn't the best habit, but she knew what she was getting into and the idea that partaking in a small vice like smoking is worth losing seeing your child over is just disgusting.

This is my Ex, why is this true. I have nine year sentence. At 2.5k a month and my new living expenses. And she marries a fucking guy without a work permit after a few months moving him in with the kids and cutting all communication. Sick as fuck, and I’m still asking myself’ am I missing something here?’ I have no residual feelings for her or hoped to reconcile but the kids never had a moment to adapt before she moved him in during their visitation with me. Please don’t feel sorry for me. I just can’t believe I was married to such a malicious dumb myopic cunt.
