This is rather a specific question. I have a three year old daughter that told me that her mother called her a liar and selfish, out of the blue while watching a movie.
I understand that little ones can tell fibs from time to time, but I know when she is telling me what she believes to be true.
When I asked my ex; who is a proven liar, cheat and thief, about it she insisted she never did or would.
From all my experiences with my ex over our 10 years of marriage , including abandoning me and our one year old for 5 months, it’s hard to ever believe her.
I highly value good morals and ethics and I try to instill those same values into my daughter. Am I just jaded or should I believe my daughter? I don’t t think AWALT necessarily applies to young girls, it just seems like the same old lying from my ex. Any thoughts are welcomed.
