I know a lot has been written about this, and a lot of it has been spot on, but there are some very basic issues creating the situation and which need to be highlighted.

The unfolding story is just AWALT under another name.

Any woman who came forward ONLY after years of waiting and after finally giving up on fame and fortune or only after having achieved it should not be trusted or garner any sympathy.

Each of these women, assuming for a moment what they are alleging is true, was face to face with a character defining moment. Through no, or little, fault of their own they were faced with a conundrum: report to the authorities and public what they had been subjected to or swallow it (pun somewhat intended) in the pursuit of fame, attention, fortune and the 1%. Each of these women, who are just now coming forward, chose the latter.

That means when they had the choice to choose honesty, truth and justice they chose something else. Only now, after having spent so long chasing other priorities they are crying that they weren't treated justly and aren't viewed trustworthy. Well no shit, they specifically rejected those things. That's what women do:they reject something in favor of something else and they cry and moan that that's exactly what they got. They have no accountability.

And there is no thought for others in their decision making process. I'm sure some few did come forward in a timely and honest fashion. But being the one or two out of hundreds, and likely with little support, and facing a towering figure of power and wealth, the odds were stacked against these few legitimate victims. But it didn't have to be that way. If each girl had come forward when it happened, there would have been a mountain of evidence. Moreover, and even more important, it would have stopped. So each girl who didn't come forward is responsible for all all the other girls who came after. But none of that was enough to stop each of those girls from prioritizing their own wild fantasies over the safety of others.

And no, telling some male friend, actor or otherwise, is not sufficient. That's more of the same: avoiding responsibility and placing it all on some man. It is not some other person's responsibility to bear your truth--it is yours and yours alone. Each women knew what happened and she had the responsibility to come forward with it--immediately. It was no one else, no matter how many others she secretly told. None of those people knew the truth. None of those people are tasked with investigating these issues for public protection.

I know TRP is amoral, and I'm fine with that. But things such as truth, honesty and justice do not just appear out of the ether. They are not the normal state of things. They have to be created, and usually at great costs. Think of the wars and battles fought for these principals. These realities weren't just bestowed on societies they were fought for and created, through hard work, by the individuals of those societies that achieved those ideas. They never existed or were obtained any other way.

These women shit on that. Each of them are crying--it wasn't my responsibility. I shouldn't have had to give up my dreams to ensure truth. I shouldn't have had to risk my adoring throngs for justice. I shouldn't have had to choose between my goals and someone's safety. I'm entitled to a free and easy ride and realization of all my wants. But now having been greatly rewarded for those choices they are crying that someone else hasn't come forward and born the costs they eschewed and embraced the choices they completely rejected.

Instead they claim none of it was their responsibility and all of it should have been for their benefit.

And all of that is in blatant and total denial that each and everyone knew the nature of the environment she was going into and staying in for years, if not decades.

TL/DR: Women are women, the headlines only prove it.
