Exactly, this is why MGTOW is a thing. The value of the pussy has been inflated to levels never before seen, thanks to society + social media, technology, online dating, and simps.
The average interaction between male and female has become a clusterfuck. What normally would have been two people who are approximately equal to each other in terms of attraction and availability to form a relationship, has turned into some monster where the females see themselves as vastly superior to anyone who is not a 15/10.
It's not all bad, though. There was another post on here today from a dude that went to a strip club, and figured out it's all just tits and ass, and it's not even that special -even the hot ones.
This current climate has allowed many guys to realize exactly that -it was never that special, and our biological imperatives are what drives that desire. Today's dating market has pushed so many men to the wayside that they're waking up and realizing this, and saying, "Meh, it's not that good anyway, guess I'll spend my time in other pursuits."
And through those pursuits, we have reconnected with philosophy, self-improvement, and stoicism that has been neglected for a few generations at least.
So in a way, MGTOW is a poetic return to what's important, rather than chasing a wet hole like we have been doing for the last 20 years.
The women out there who hate this way of life that we live, however, are terribly threatened by this awakening. They are afraid they might actually have to deal with consequences of their own actions.
They are starting to realize that feminism has destroyed much of the appeal that used to be there, and are also realizing that feminism isn't going to be there to save them from the wall.
And they don't like that. They are pissed the fuck off that they can't have their cake and eat it too.
Yea, it's shitty, that dudes who want a relationship/children aren't going to get it these days -but the good news is: feminism, society, technology, all of these negative aspects of how we're living now, have forced us to find a better and more happy way to live.
I, for one, am content with that. I am happier now than I have been my whole life. After being cheated on in a LTR twice, and several FWB relationships, I was lost and couldn't figure out why I felt so empty inside. Why I had no connection. Why even sex felt empty and useless.
Then I discovered myself, and how to be happy with solitude. Turns out, I'm a pretty cool guy, actually, and I enjoy my company.
Go your own way, gents. Let this clusterfuck called society spiral further out of control and crash and burn, without you. Choose happiness.

I think that these days with the prevalence of smart phones, if a man asks a girl what time it is, it's pretty clear he is just politely trying to start a conversation with her.
Of course there's nothing wrong with this sort of white lie. The alternative would be to walk up to her and flat out ask her for a sexual relationship. Which would be awkward and uncomfortable for both parties.
