I've got lots of female coworkers/friends that I actually enjoy talking to. I suppose I'd even consider them friends in the simplest sense of the word. But I also understand that if I'm truly down and out, like stranded on the side of the road at 3 am type situation, I better call a guy friend. Female relationships, be they romantic or friendship, are very transactional. They're just not going to have your back if the shit hits the fan. Know that going in and you won't be disappointed.

I appreciate the women in my family and even enjoy some of the cooler female coworkers I know . Women aren't 100% terrible evil wastes of skin ( though some are) but collectively no women aren't all bad .

It's just when it comes to having any kind of serious relationship with them ? I think you're attaching yourself to a time bomb.. .you don't know when it will explode, you may even forget that at some point it will blow up , but one day an explosion will happen and it might destroy you and everything you own and love with it .

I don't put much trust in female friendships anyway though I think women who aren't family are really only good for surface level relationships.

I've had " deep" female relationships and in retrospect I was their therapist and emotional baggage handler . They weren't particularly interested or even supportive of me and when I stopped being the emotional supporter they needed they just found a new guy to slot in .

It's more of an experience thing I promise, I was as team women , feministy , "Women are the fairer sex " , borderline woman worshipping man you could ever meet years ago ... The more I actually got to know women as friends, lovers, and everything else the more I realized they don't provide much in terms of friendship or comfort .

Your feelings may vary , ood luck with whatever you decide.

in my opinion, this is not a fair characterization of the general view of women most common among MGTOW. it is true that women more than men seek to build consensus prior to acting or choosing (among other behaviors intended to avoid responsibility for possible negative outcomes) and also that they are more likely than men to be able to believe their own bullshit post hoc rationalizations for their own bad behavior while forgetting or ignoring the actual facts of why they did something foolish or malicious. but I have never seen any statements here that could be characterized fairly as meaning that women engage in such behaviors at all times or that they have a monopoly on these things. if there is content on the sub you think misstates something about women, why don't you discuss it with the one who posted it in the context of where it is posted, rather than making negative characterizations and directing them at all of us, whether we have said any such things or not?

I have no issue with that, personally. Some of my best friends just happen to be women, but I have no intention of screwing them or anything more than strictly platonic. I went the extra mile to make this point clear with them, and that worked out really well.

Is it possible? Sure. However, many men are here because of the way they have been treated by women, so I'd argue that's it's improbable to be MGTOW and still want any meaningful friendship with a woman.
