The last time this was posted here, it was reposted on a sub that is anti-male... and it hit the front page.

Essentially MGTOW was equated to men wanting to f-ck their daughters, and upset that they couldn’t... because they can’t get laid anyway. (Crazy I know)

Not that we should care what “they” think... but I’d rather MGTOW not carry that stigma. We got enough battles and enemies.

It's only like that recently. Back when men were still MEN, THEY DECIDED who their daughters married... She had no fucking say in the matter. And the men would marry their daughters off to men they hand picked to forge beneficial alliances with other families or to give her as a gift to men they respected(a good friend, a great warrior etc). But when it comes to today, you are 100% right. But even back then, it was better to have a son.

While I definitely wouldn't want to have a daughter, it has less to do with it being some bizarre form of being cucked and more to do with the fact that they're just more hellish to raise in general.

I think I kind of get what this is saying, even if it phrases it really, really poorly. I think what bugs me about the idea of having a daughter is that my "legacy" would be left in the hands of just another woman. No matter how you raise them, AWALT. So my grandkids would be raised by someone who inevitably has daddy issues and has done nothing but make a series of extremely poor life choices, up to and including getting her face painted by her university's football team because she had nothing to do on a Saturday night.

I mean, I can't think of many men who wouldn't be disappointed to learn that they spent 17 years of their life raising a girl only to find out through social media that she had a mile long train ran on her last weekend by everything in a 12-mile radius with a dick (yes, even Fido).

You just can't look at a walking disaster of a person like that and think "Yep, that sure was a good way to spend almost two decades of my life."

Of course, this is all coming from the perspective of someone with no kids, so keep that in mind.

There's a reason why the groom paid the father the 'Bride Price'. It was not only to prove the groom was committed but also to pay the father for those years of raising a woman worth marrying.

Conversely, if the woman wasn't worth marrying, the father would literally pay some schmuck to take her off his hands via a 'dowry'.
